Be seek ye first the Kingdom of God
Our desire through the leading of God’s precious Holy Spirit is for God’s people to understand, live and spread God’s Holy Word. The grass wherewith, the flower fadeth; but the Word of God shall stand forever. The Word heals, the Word makes free, the Word illuminates, the Word bears witness, the Word produces fruit, the Word makes us wise, the Word exhorts, the Word created the world and the Word will destroy the world. Our desire is to teach the Word of God to all people. Matthew 13:20 says, "But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that hearth the Word, and anon with joy receive it."
Our History
True Deliverance Church of God, Headquarters
The beginning of the True Deliverance Church of God was on November 12, 1967, when six (6) people met with the Late Apostle Albert Venson, Sr. True Deliverance Church of God held its first service at 1223 7th Street, NW, Washington, DC. On May 4th, 1970, the ministry moved to a larger building located at 2107 10th Street, NW. People were saved, healed and delivered by the power of God through this ministry and it continued to grow at this location. On Sundays, Apostle Venson, along with some of the congregation, would go out through the streets picking up people for the service and feeding the hungry.
